Two passionate young people, both former youth leaders with experience in horticulture, played a key role in kickstarting our youth garden. They shared a deep love for the environment and a desire to pass on the knowledge they'd gained to other young people aged 12-25. This is how our garden group was born. An amazing group of young leaders stepped up and put their heads together to transform a once dull, empty space into what we now call our vibrant backyard. Today, it's a place where we can learn to grow our own food and have access to free, healthy produce. as well as a lovely space to sit and talk when the world or your head gets a little too busy.
